The KU Biodiversity Institute and Natural History Museum will host the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections (SPNHC) 40th Annual Meeting in Lawrence, KS.
This annual event regularly attracts an audience of 350–450 participants from around the world. Since our meeting is designed to allow virtual participation, we expect another 250–350 participants to join us online. In-person and virtual participants represent a wide range of disciplines, subjects, and backgrounds, including botany, zoology, paleontology, geology and mineralogy, herbaria, data science, bioinformatics, living collections, pest management, conservation, collections storage, exhibition design, data management, and public programming.
The program includes themed symposia, workshops, and a plenary session focusing on natural history collections and their continued importance to the world today and into the future. It also includes an exhibitor showcase through which vendors of natural history or related products showcase these products to the community.
We are offering several sponsorship packages and opportunities to suit varying budgets and marketing strategies. Sponsoring the SPNHC conference provides significant relationship-building opportunities, multi-channel marketing, promotional opportunities, and substantial global exposure while furthering the goals of SPNHC. Please contact us at spnhc2025@ku.edu for a copy of the Sponsor and Vendor prospectus document (pdf).
Vendor and Sponsor support of these meetings is crucial to our success and is much appreciated. We welcome your involvement in this conference and look forward to welcoming you to Lawrence in May 2025.
